HENRY W. (Wake) GAILEY VICE PRESIDENT
In 1982, after eleven years in the field, the logistics of coordinating the men, materials, and equipment, fell on Carter Electric’s biggest shoulders – those of Wake Gailey. His day has begun at 5:30 a.m. ever since. Project management and estimating were a natural progression for him. Establishing professional relationships and his talent for negotiation and compromise have been essential to our growth and in sustaining on-going maintenance contracts for FPL, Halifax Hospital and Florida Health Care, among others.
Since acquiring a Journeyman’s License in 1975, Wake’s dedication to the organization and advancement of the electrical industry in Central Florida is unparalleled. In his many years of service in the trade, he has volunteered countless hours to local and regional organizations. He currently serves as Chairman of the Mid Florida Electrical Apprenticeship & Training Committee and, in the past, has served as Secretary of the Committee.
Since 1997 he has served as President and Vice President of the Electrical Council of Florida, Chapter 14, promoting the integrity and professionalism of the organization in Central Florida.
