Gary joined Carter Electric in 2001 as Project Manager/Estimator and began Work on several market sectors including our healthcare design/build markets.
Our healthcare projects include medical office buildings, linear accelerator, CT and brain lab equipment installations, and many other AHCA projects for area Physicians, Cancer Treatment Centers as well as several local hospitals.
In 2005 Gary became an integral part of Carter Electric Company’s management and took on the responsibility of overseeing the purchasing, inventory control, vehicle fleet services and Carter Electric Company’s safety program.
After retiring from the U.S. Air Force in 1992, Gary began working as a Project Manager and Estimator handling projects for several public school systems in the Central Florida area. He moved on to an electrical engineering firm as a Construction Administrator overseeing construction projects at the Orlando International Airport, Disney World and Public School Systems throughout the state of Florida.
As a veteran of the U.S. Air Force Gary’s background includes maintenance, personnel training and senior level management. He received degrees in Computer Electronics and Applied Aircraft Technology that combined with his civilian experience in electrical construction, engineering, design and systems technology brings a proficiency and competence to our expanding services in the Central Florida Region.
